Wilder addresses the state of affairs in the music business

Alan Wilder has written an op-ed for the music webzine, SideLine. In the piece, titled “Music For The Masses – I Think Not!”, Alan tackles subjects ranging from the loudness wars, to the impact of downloads on the music (as opposed to the music business), and how difficult it is to actually get something as seemingly straightforward as a CD single released these days. It’s a fascinating read, and should tie you over till we’ve put the finishing touches on our own Recoil feature, which *will* hit the site on Saturday!!

The full op-ed can be read here!
