91X FM, in San Diego, CA, had an interview Wed morning with Dave Gahan were they discussed many topics like the new record, the video for Wrong, Touring The Universe, and much, much more. Turns out poor Ben Hillier was the unfortunate guy in car in the Wrong video, apparently that’s what he gets for producing a record for them…. of course he was kidding. The three commercial, physical formats for “Wrong”, have been announced on the band’s official site. We’re getting a seven inch, a CD single and a CD maxi, between them holding 4 four remixes including ones by Trentemøller and Stuart Price (Thin White Duke), a b-side and a remix of that b-side. The band will be playing a special warm up show at Rock Hal in Luxembourg on May 6th. The show precedes the official tour start, which is May 10th in Tel Aviv. The capacity for the show is a mere 6500, and tickets will go on sale starting March 4th.
Two new Mode tracks available now on iTunes. “Wrong” can be bought outside the UK by following this link. Black Light Odyssey’s Dub of “Oh Well” is available now for fans in the UK, on their local iTunes. The “Oh Well” remix is part of a 20 track strong iTunes version of the album, while fans outside the UK will have to make do with 15 tracks. Tracklists after the jump.

News galore today, as the band have already announced US dates, USA Today ran the cover exclusively on their site, and now the official site has been updated with all the juicy details for the deluxe edition of the album. The band announced today, via the official website, the dates and cities for their upcoming North American leg of “Tour Of The Universe”. No specific venues yet, but they should be announced shortly. Anyway… cities and dates for the group’s 2009 North American concert tour are:
