91X Interview with Dave Gahan
91X FM, in San Diego, CA, had an interview Wed morning with Dave Gahan were they discussed many topics like the new record, the video for Wrong, Touring The Universe, and much, much more. Turns out poor Ben Hillier was the unfortunate guy in car in the Wrong video, apparently that’s what he gets for producing a record for them…. of course he was kidding. Yeah, it was a bit weird that he said “the other members of the band”… there are only two other band members… who else could it be? But the rest of the interview was hilarious!
I read that Martin had also given a radio interview today at 3 P.M. Is this true?

Interesting that Dave shared that they INTENTIONALLY did not use Anton for the video. Here I was thinking that Anton got tired of working with them.
And Linda, Dave specifically referred to Martin, but Fletch/ Martin seem to be attached to the hip. So, I would not be surprised if both were against not using Anton.

Hmm. I always wondering why ask all the same crappy questions all the time from all radio and the press. I bet poor Dave gets hundreds of the same questions about ‘who’s the hell is that in the video’, ‘when you will come to our town’ and other stuff, while this all can be read over official website.

Agreed. Usually the people who interview DM guys are never particular familiar with DM. Looks like someone else always pre-writes the questions and the one who asks is never entirely following a thing.

I thought it was hilarious that it was the producer… then I watched the video on YouTube again (I think it’s growing on me) and I read the description:
“Actor (in car): Julian Gross”
Don’t know if you guys already knew that or not, but it makes sense to me now, since I don’t remember Hillier having a moustache last time I saw him lol. Gross is in the band Liars, who also had a video directed by Daughters. Yay for the Internet. lol

Keenman, did you even listen to interview? The interviewer specifically said that he is a HUGE DM fan and even told Dave that he changed his life (for the better.)
