“Huuh, just one UK date?!Depeche Mode have forgotten their homeland, blablaburps”! Now stop crying and remember for the future shows:if DM schedule just one show in your country or city, shut the hell up before you say too much crap. You exactly know the cities they usually play, but at every new tour you, people, keep whining & bitchin’ about missing cities etc….Are you happy now(the normal response should be YES)?

Got tickets for the O2, albeit in the wheelchair section! I’ve no idea what that actually means, mind you! Not particularly bothered, however!

Noone ever said Dublin was in the UK.

Its a shame DM fans from Belfast must travel to Dublin or the mainland UK. We have a great venue here (odessy arena). Its been 22 years since they last played. Why must they always choose Dublin. People can travel from Dublin. Considering this is practically a UK tour surely they must consider playing in Northern Ireland given that it is part of the UK.

I’ll be joining lee m in watching fletch clap pretend to add dj effects, got my standing tickets this morning. oh yay

@Lebomode – DM don’t always play Dublin – TTA was the first since the SOFAD tour. Stop crying – its an hour down the road – atleast its the same country. Northern Irish here & happily traveling to London, Bratislava, Budapest, Dublin, Glasgow & Manchester. If Mode don’t come to me, i go to them

One of their best albums. I listened a few times to the new album and I am really enthusiastic about it. It sounds very great. Miles Away is fantastic, also In Chains and Perfect and above all Little Soul. As I said, great album.

currupt is the sexiest DM song ever! (imo) *wow* love the album….
I would love to talk about it in the forum here but for some reason It wont let me register???

Brilliant, Brilliant album. This is better than I expected. The songs are looser with less preditable structure than previous releases. I am very, very happy.

I’m absolutely loving the album, while PTA was good, it was too “techy” and “harsh” for me and not very warm and organic, SOTU is the exact opposite it gets better with every listen, loving In Chains,Come back,Miles away…this a definite return to form in my books….

All very exciting stuff. Looking forward to receiving my SOTU Box Set. The demo’s should be interesting. Anyone know who will be support on the 5 new Uk dates (And Dublin, ‘cos that’s not in the UK as we have already established.)

@jaffa- you have made my point very well jaffa. I have been travelling to prague and around europe for years and it would be nice to see DM in my home country. I have tickets for Paris and Dublin so far for this tour. Just to correct your ignorance, Dublin is at least 2 hours away and it is not in the same country. Also if they played Belfast then i would have only had to pay £35/45 and not £65 that I am paying for the Dublin. I hope you appreciate that I am not crying but simply making a valid point!!!!!!

Saw them in Glasgow the other night. I never thought I’d see them in my home town ever!
Mr Gore looked ravishing as ever and both were in good voice. The crowd didn’t get up on its feet til Enjoy The Silence, whereas I was hollering all the way through (every word).
I can now die happy
Dave’s audience participation antics look a tad cheesy on celluloid but in reality it’s lots of fun and quite endearing.
