Susan Boyle – Enjoy The Silence

Yes, you read that right… Susan Boyle has recorded a cover of DM’s epic “Enjoy The Silence”. On paper, the idea sounds pretty scary to your average Depeche Mode fan. When actually, there has been way worse cover versions of this one. Make your own mind up and give it a listen after the jump.

Unreleased MLG remix on Radio VRU

We’re a lucky bunch because Marc Vierheller has put together the latest playlist for Radio VRU in Berlin that features his previously unreleased remix for Martin L. Gore’s cover of Iggy Pop’s “Tiny Girls” from the Counterfeit 2 sessions. This remix is a web exclusive for this playlist and the rest of the show has an excellent and eclectic selection of tracks from artists like Burial, Thom York, Pantha Du Prince, Isan, Gil Scott Harron, and more! Well worth your time to give it a listen. We highly recommend. Track list and link to listen after the jump!

Depeche Mode cover U2?

Depeche Mode’s Andy Fletcher has revealed that Depeche have covered a track from U2 that will be coming out, according to the time of the interview, sometime in November. Which track and what it will be used for is not known at the time, but we’ll post up any info we get. Fan speculation is that it could perhaps be included as a part of the Achtung Baby reissue, but your guess is as good as mine. Watch the video after the jump!

New DJ Mix from Black Light Odyssey!

Depeche Mode remixers and Home friends, Black Light Odyssey, have put together a brand new DJ mix that we highly recommend! It features two of their remixes for Depeche Mode as well as tracks from Nitzer Ebb, Fad Gadget, Foster The People, Front 242 and more. Link to mix and full tracklist after the jump.
