BMG buys Mute's Catalogue

Ten days after the announcement of Depeche Mode signing a worldwide record deal with Columbia records, it has now been revealed by Musicweek.com that BMG Rights have bought Mute’s catalogue. Universal Music Group had bought EMI not too long ago which owned the rights to Mute’s catalogue, but is now forced to sell some assets, including Mute’s catalogue. Mute is estimated to be worth around $10 million. Follow the links for the full press release:
