Dean M. Oldfield Debut Single “Liberty” is available now on iTunes! After the split of Ba5ic at the start of the year, Dean M. Oldfield, nephew of Martin L. Gore, sets out on his solo musical journey today with the debut of his warm and haunting single, “Liberty”. We hope you’ll head over to iTunes and support Dean!

Hailing from Basidon, Essex, Dean M Oldfield is a Songwriter, Keyboardist, and Singer best known as one half of the Electronic duo Ba5ic. Comprised of he and his cousin Louis for the last seven years, Ba5ic separated in January of 2013 and Martin L. Gore’s nephews have gone on to take their own musical journeys.

While Dean is taking this path alone, the spirit remains the same as he channels influences from the likes of Depeche Mode into his music. A unique, modern take on the familiar, but with Dean’s signature balance. While the seductive sound design will initially grab you, the key aspect of his music is the distinctive, moving lyrical content.

Dean’ M. Oldfield’s debut single ‘Liberty’ is available on iTunes from Monday 8th April 2013.
Dean will be performing at the Bas 2013 event on Monday 27th May 2013 and is looking to have more gig’s scheduled for the latter part of the year.
