Djedotronic’s ‘Alone’ remix premieres today

17 days after the announcement of Djedotronic remixing DM’s Alone, i-D premieres his remix on Soundcloud today. The remix has a slightly more minimal rhythm, while still maintaining the brooding darkness from the original. As Djedotronic says on his Facebook page, “The main idea with this remix was to play with the contrast between intimate melody and claustrophobic rhythm. It’s my attempt to translate the duality of feelings that is present in the original song.” Sounds like a successful job to me!
