Mute is reporting that they plan to release a digital remix album to accompany the Best Of Depeche Mode album on it’s digital format. The new remix album will be apart of the Deluxe Digital version available through iTunes on November 6th.

The *real* tracklistings for the upcoming Depeche Mode single, “Martyr”, has finally been made public. Look out for a super cool remix of “Never Let Me Down Again” on the CD Maxi!

Depeche Mode return to the fore with the stunning single ‘Martyr’ - their first new material since the international Number 1 album ‘Playing The Angel’. Taken from the eagerly awaited Best Of collection, it’s a powerful, hypnotic track written by Martin Gore and deftly confirms the band’s iconic status.

Home is pleased to confirm that Alex Smoke has also remixed the forthcoming single from Depeche Mode. “Martyr”, due out in October, will be from the new “Best Of” collection. Alex Smoke’s song “Lost In Sound” was featured on the Touring The Angel pre-show DJ mix.

Depeche Mode has been nominated for “Best Live Return” along side Pink Floyd and Take That for the Vodafone Live Music Awards next month.

MUSIC legends The Who are to be awarded a lifetime achievement award for their live shows. The band will be given the gong at the inaugural Vodafone Live Music Awards next month. Original The Who band member Roger Daltrey and Pete Townsend will collect The Freddie Mercury Lifetime Achievement in Live Music award on October 11. The Freddie Mercury Lifetime Achievement in Live Music award has been created to honour the contribution the late Queen singer made to live music.
