The first single to be pulled from Dave Gahan’s forthcoming solo record is “Kingdom”.

Well the title says it all, really. A brief web greeting from mr. Gahan and his accomplices, Andrew Phillpott and Christian Eigner. Watch it after the jump!

Talking to fans, Andrew Fletcher gave a few more details than had previously slipped about the future of Mode, reports the good people over at DepMod.com

According to DepMod.com, Fletch has mentioned hearing 9 tracks, of which 7 were complete with vocals, and another two were instrumentals. The songs, he said, is a departure from the material found on “Playing The Angel” and “Exciter”.
