Depeche Mode’s long time collaborator, Anton Corbijn, made his directorial debut with the film “Control”. The film, based on Ian Curtis of Joy Division, has been very well received at this years Cannes Film Festival.

Placebo has released an iTunes exclusive album featuring their cover of Depeche Mode’s “I Feel You”. “Covers” features a selection of 10 covers from throughout their career.

These covers, which were previously only available on 2003’s “Sleeping With Ghosts” limited edition bonus disc are now available as a digital covers album via iTunes. This release follows the huge digital download demand for their cover of Kate Bush’s “Running Up That Hill”, after it recently appeared on the hit TV show “The O.C.” Aside from the Depeche Mode cover, this album also features covers of The Smiths, Pixies, and T -Rex just to name a few.

Darrell Ives, who worked personal security for Depeche Mode since the early 1990s, passed away in February and Depeche Mode have set up a trust for his family.

As many of you already know, Darrell Ives sadly passed away on February the 16th, in Hong Kong.

Depeche Mode remixers and friends of HOME, Booka Shade are heading out on the North American leg of their “MOVEMENTS” Album & Tour and we have the dates and details.

The always amazing Booka Shade will be in North America playing shows all through March and we are pleased to share with you the dates of all the shows.

Onetwo’s track, “Cloud 9″, is set to be released as a single on Feb. 8th. The track was co-written with Depeche Mode’s Martin Gore and also features him on guitar.

Onetwo’s (Claudia Brucken & Paul Humphreys)”Cloud 9″ is a song by Claudia and was co-written by Claudia and Martin Gore. Aside from songwriting, the track also features Martin on guitar as well. Cloud 9 had originally been written for Claudia’s planned solo album back in the 1990’s. It was subsequently “leant” to Propaganda for their planned new album that was shelved. The single will also see “Cloud 9″ remixed by German trance duo Blank & Jones.
