


Depeche Mode to play “Later with Jools Holland” (*updated*)
Depeche Mode are confirmed to make their first ever appearance on the BBC show “Later with Jools Holland”, reveals News Of The World. The series returns with its Later Live show on Tuesdays for eight weeks at 10pm from April 7 on BBC2. An hour-long version is on Fridays at 11.35pm. Depeche Mode is booked for April 28, according to Planet Sound.
Motor to support Mode in (most of) Europe!
We’re so happy to report that Home faves MOTOR will be supporting Depeche Mode on 20 dates across Europe this coming summer. Motor’s remix of “Precious” was highlighted by Martin Gore as the best remix of a Mode song ever, and their track “Yak” was included in the pre-show music on the last tour. Well this time, instead of one track on a mixtape, we’re getting the real deal!!! The group is by far one of the most interesting and energetic live bands on the electronic music scene these days.

Kroq just announced that Depeche Mode will appear on Jimmy Kimmel Live on April 23rd*(!!). You can win tickets to both this show, and the two at the Hollywood Bowl later in the tour on Kroq’s website.

News galore today, as the band have already announced US dates, USA Today ran the cover exclusively on their site, and now the official site has been updated with all the juicy details for the deluxe edition of the album. Sounds Of The Universe deluxe details
Depeche Mode’s “Tour of the Universe” is happening in conjunction with the release of the group’s twelfth studio album, Sounds Of the Universe (Mute/Capitol/Virgin), which will be released on April 20th in Europe, and April 21st in North America. Alongside a standard CD format, Depeche Mode has announced that Sounds Of The Universe will also be released as a Special Edition CD+DVD and a Deluxe Box Set that will include a host of exclusive material:
Mode Management Co-Produces Festival
Baron “Tons Of Money” Kessler, Depeche’s manager since the mid-90s, has gone together with Coldplay manager Dave Holmes to form Good Boy Productions – the first project being a Canadian festival called Pemberton Festival. Coldplay headlines this years installment. Any guesses who’s heading next years?
